Kolby & Matt raised the bar on elegance for wedding invitations. They used black and white foil on top of black Poptone paper to make a subtle, yet bold invitation. If you're going to sleekness and elegance, this is the invitation style for your wedding. Then they connected all three pieces of paper with a crystal brad in the upper left corner and perforated the last page, to make a mailable RSVP card.

I saw a quote on Pinterest the other day that said. "I just want to make beautiful things even if nobody cares."
Well, here's an example of just that. It's my bedroom wall, designed to be a headboard out of black frames and pops of color. I painted the walls a two-toned metallic color and found that wall graphic online. Stay tuned, though. I think I may design my own wall graphic, have it printed, and put that up in place of this blue swirl. We'll see. :)
The photos are pictures of all the places I've been...Rome, Paris, London, Ireland, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Mexico, NYC, etc. I'll need to make room for one more when I take pictures of the Grand Canyon with my good friend Kristin this year!
It was such a pleasure working with John and Anna on their Japanese Cherry Blossom wedding invitations. How did they save some money? Jenna & Eric and Bonnie & Steve decided to print all of their wedding information onto their one-piece wedding invitation instead of printing three separate pieces (an invitation, an RSVP card and a hotel/direction card). Jenna & Eric even opted to list an online RSVP. Their guests will log onto their wedding website to RSVP for their wedding, saving them the cost of an RSVP postcard and stamps. One general rule...the less paper you use, the less expensive your invitations will be. The fewer the pieces, the lower the cost.
Both of the invitations shown are printed on shimmery white paper, but if you wanted to save money another way, it's cheaper to print on glossy or matte paper rather than shimmery. (But be careful of fingerprints on a glossy option.)

(*Just remember...if you send anything through the mail with a knot (tied ribbon, tied twine) it will cost you $0.65 instead of the standard $0.45. Although it may fit through the 0.25" mail slot, it must be completely flat to mail for just one stamp.)
Beth and Troy both got what they wanted on their wedding invitations. Beth requested turquoise, soft gray and silver. And Troy said his favorite football team was Nebraska. He also got what he requested. It's all in the details.

Jessie and Charles are getting married next week in Mexico! While they're enjoying the beach, you can enjoy their invitations. She added a crystal to the back of the invitation and a paper band around the front to hold in the two insert cards. What a bright and beautiful set.
